Changing answer buttons using PowerPoint Add-in

Hi - I'm having trouble changing answer buttons when using the PowerPoint add-in feature. It keeps going back to the original anser, even when I click out the orig. checkmark, move it, delete old button, insert new button, and save. The button simply goes back to the original answer.

Is there someone out there who knows how to solve this problem? PS - I'm posting here because I was locked out of the software forum, which would have seemed more appropriate.
